yes there are 28 streetlites due for hemel, just read through this months issue of buses magazine and it confirms it. it also mentions 13 new streetdecks for route 101 in sapphire spec which will be based at gillingham. 18 streetdecks are also due for delivery August/september for arriva...
all the users of the buses at my secondary have bus passes paid for by the council, avoiding PSVAR. anyway again most school bus services at my secondary are operated by metrobus, so wheelchair access, destination boards etc already exist. the only exception is the coach service which seems to...
how's that going to work? EMT has 30 HSTs which i'm guessing means 15 sets (6/8 car) and 30 222s (mostly 5 car) and their replacing all those with 33 5 carriage AT300s and, if the 2 citations on wikipedia are right, 4 5 carriage 180s from hull trains. they definitely haven't ordered enough...
I believe arriva southern counties just got a batch of 4 new streetlites for Hemel Hempstead. Slightly weird because Hemel Hempstead has fairly modern buses compared to other depots. The only fairly old buses are an '03 Wright cadet, '04 solo and a bunch of '07 plaxton centros.
