So they won’t make a decision off the outcome of the situation in the first letter- just to explain the tickets I’ve purchased? Thankfully they didn’t catch me with the oyster so they can’t investigate that I’m presuming?
It varies from case to case. But I would expect the railway to come to a decision when they have all the information they think they need, or when they have all the information they think they are going to get. It's worth remembering that neither of these tests are the same as having all the information that could be out there.. I have a question they won’t issue the out of court settlement or make a conclusion on the first letter?
Most companies will write to you to ask what happened, then their response to your reply may offer and out of court settlement.I have a question they won’t issue the out of court settlement or make a conclusion on the first letter?
Appears to be SWR from the first post .(I'm afraid I haven't read the whole 4 page thread so don't know details or even what Train Operating Company this is.)

If this is GTR or SWR, then that's almost certainly what will happen.
There's no guarantee of them using email - you will need to make sure you can still receive paper post. So if you move you will have todo they send a letter to my email too because i may be moving houses within the next few months?
You mean you don't know where you will be residing?I don't know where i should redirect it to
Ideally you would have the post redirected by Royal Mail to a reliable UK address where you know you can easily get post and it can safely be received - preferably of course where you are going to be living yourself (unless you are leaving the UK?). I suppose a trusted family member or friend's UK address could be a fall back as an alternative, as they could tell you about any post received, and you could go and get it from them, or if you were happy for them to do so, open it and scan or photograph it and e-mail it to you for example.I don't know where i should redirect it to
You might hope that if the person concerned contacted them and explained this, and requested that e-mail would be a useful way to make contact, at least initially, they would then actually use e-mail. If they have systems internally that can be suitably flexible to achieve that.Presumably the TOCs must have a process for dealing with people of no fixed abode?
In this case I think the OP has given an address but now realises they won’t be there, what would happen if they contacted the train company and said I’m about to become homeless?

I don’t know but you could go to your local post office and ask if any service like that is provided. Is there a way I can collect it from a post office- i provided the inspector with my email

Try https://www.royalmail.com/personal/receiving-mail/redirectionCould you guys help me redirect the letter I'm awaiting to a friends address? I don't know how SWR are going to know that I've moved the address
Or alternatively the op can e mail SWR prosecutions team to send them the new addressTry https://www.royalmail.com/personal/receiving-mail/redirection
This will redirect all your mail, not just anything from SWR.
