Not to mention the guided busway... https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-cambridgeshire-40726151 "Construction costs rose from the £87m agreed with the council, to more than £150m. Maybe cost overruns are just expected on government infrastructure projects... Total cost of the busway has...
Kings Dyke level crossing was a regular hold up on the A605 between the town of Whittlesey and the city of Peterborough.
Talk of building a bridge goes back to the 1970s. The original contractor Keir had been expected to build a new bridge for £13.6 million, top open in 2020, with money coming...
The last TPWS signal before the contact point is about 1.8 miles, just before Harlington Station but there is a semaphore at one mile away. I'm guessing the signal before Harlington should have been red as the semaphore would be too close to the crossing? Between that and Eccles station further...
I thought it was Drove Road Crossing because the train had come to rest there, but the incident was at Hockham Road Crossing. Drove Road crossing is fenced off and only open to pedestrians, about 300m from Hockham Road. Looks like only the front of the tractor was across the track or its could...

One of my favourite is Squirrel (417,954 subsriptions) quite a popular Youtuber - even more entertaining when things don't quite go as expected. He does quite a wide range...

That's great to hear someones doing some more on that line. It's very much a forgotten apart from a few enthusiasts. I'm currently planning on doing a small model of the Eye station. Currently bidding on an OO gauge kettle as we speak :). There a bit on the line here...
I'm looking into making up the old station sign that used to be in the village where I live. I've got at least two black and white photos of it but nothing of the sign, station or line exists any more. I'm a pretty capable DIY carpenter but does anyone know how the letters are created or what...
Has anybody ever visited this Station. Its in West Norfolk on the dismantled Kings Lynn to Hunstanton line.
Had a recent visit, the outside of the station is pretty well preserved. Sadly the inside has sadly been converted into a home (I think it was recently on the market for half a million...
