Would Pizza Express only deliver to class 1 (or 9) passenger trains? Is there a Pizza Ordinary delivering to class 2 trains?

Surely XC potentially moving into BROC might mitigate one risk, but create another.

Thanks. Forgot that switch diamonds are classed as "point ends". Is each switch diamond considered as two point ends?

Was watching the Green Signals podcast where Richard Bowker was looking around Charing Cross. I seem to recall that an engineer said that they had reduced the number of point ends from (I think) 18 to 16. Has the layout changed slightly; anyone know?

Has anyone mentioned the long footbridge across TfLs Morden depot of the Northern Line?

Would munition workers going to Cold Meece (near Stone) during WW2 have been regarded as "commuters", or was the term not widely used in Britain then?

Think 1st class passengers might be miffed if they had to walk to a footbridge at the north end of the platform to leave the station. Unless LNER put 1st class at the north end of their trains...

Maybe folks get jittery when they can't see the trains. Even at most airports, one can see the plane you're about to catch from the gate. The worst rail experiences seem to be where passengers have to wait away from sight of the trains; Euston and now it seems, KX too.

Branksome had one for the down platform until at least a couple of years ago. The station is in a cutting on a slight reverse curve.

Politically, terminating the Exeter/Salisbury to London services at Basingstoke would be a BIG no-no.
