Doesn't seem to say you can't on the T&C's but you can't buy a single ticket with a ttrc you have to buy 2 for each Railcard (you can test this online) so you won't get any benefit.
Did tblisi to Yerevan overnighter. Booked the tickets at the station. The station is basically a shopping centre with some crumbling platforms. Ride through the countryside with the sunrise is incredible though.
Been to baku too which is certainly more modern. Northern connections to Russia...
These passes are allowed for any purpose, commuting or leisure it doesn't matter.
The pass is only eligible for use on TfL underground services, tfl rail, dlr, overground, bus, tram and some select national rail routes.
The barriers open due to the overground and tfl rail services.
You can't...
it is an incredibly competitive price though and faster than the coach.
i can imagine it being a very popular train for students with railcards on the superoffpeak.
Used to be Trent Barton Transpeak Manchester Chortlon Street Bus Station to Nottingham Broadmarsh Bus Station via Stockport, Hazel Grove, Buxton, Bakewell, Belper and Derby. Think it took nearly 4 hours but a bargain for £7.
You would be surprised... Particularly on Sundays it can be better/as good to go from Nottingham via London and on a Friday afternoons/evening, going via Grantham can also be a good option. Not to mention advance fares.
I want to buy a ticket originating from a london zone 3 station to a station on thameslink out of the zones - the direct route would involve train into london bridge and then up on thameslink services north.
Is a London U123 origin valid to change at canada water instead via london overground...
The main gripe with the system is the extortionate cost of season tickets and travel cards around the South-East. Would like to see some analysis to see if these are at, or above-cost, of providing the rail service. St Albans to Central London is just criminal in my opinion at those prices...
something funny is happening to that train, i managed to book the same train up until Girona at a much lower price and tacked on a cheapy advance from there to barcelona (albeit 60min later). will see on the day if the TM will allow us to continue to barcelona without the stopover.
