A, B and C are travelling together.

A and B hold a Two Together railcard. A and C also hold a Two Together railcard. (It is explicitly permitted to hold multiple Two Together railcards with different people.)

Can A, B and C all purchase and travel with Two Together railcard-discounted tickets?

Second to this, what would happen if A has a card with B, B with C and C with A.

I am looking forward to hearing if someome can shine light on it. I wonder if there is something listed on the knowledge base, also wonder about how it would apply to disabled persons Railcard.

The only semi-relevant information I can see on the knowledgebase page for the Two Together Railcard is this (under 'size of group')

Both named cardholders must start and end their journey together.

Doesn't seem to say you can't on the T&C's but you can't buy a single ticket with a ttrc you have to buy 2 for each Railcard (you can test this online) so you won't get any benefit.

Isn't it possible to buy 3?
Some sites (e.g. TrainSplit) will refuse to let you search for 3 adults with a Two Together Railcard. Others (e.g. ATOS MixingDeck based ones, i.e. most of the FirstGroup TOCs) will return results for 2 Railcard-discounted tickets and one undiscounted ticket.

I can't say what exactly a TVM would do, but I'd expect it would be much the same as the above. Realistically I think the only way you can buy three Two Together discounted tickets at once would be to go to a ticket office and hope they're willing and able to do so.

Coming back to the original question, I don't see that there is anything in the T&Cs that disallow this, but it's more a practical question of whether you can actually buy three such tickets.
