Do the wagons, that are supposed to hold the container on to the wagon, have a different type of spigot/container lock, compared to HGV Lorry trailers? I ask because, I don't think that the containers blow off HGV's as often as they are on the freight trains. & before anyone says anything...

I/we had the BTP policeman come to our primary school (years ago now) & give us the same talk & he also showed us some videos,showing the consequences of trespassing/messing around on the railway. Does this still happen in primary or secondary school's now? Because, if not, it should be...

I know this is slightly off topic here, but whilst looking through the pictures on the above link, There is a picture of a DRS Class 37 37409 with quite bad front end damage. Does anyone know what happened to the above mentioned Class 37? As in, what did it hit?

Hi all, I came across this video tonight & upon viewing it, it seems (to me anyway) that the people were a bit too close to the train as it went past. Is this normal when working on the railway? I thought that you had to be at least 2ft away from a running line? or am I wrong? :oops: Here is...

With regards to people 'self evacuating' the train, wasn't there an incident a few years ago, where a passenger evacuated himself from a HST that was on fire,& got struck by a train going the opposite way?... I cant remember where & when this happened though :oops:, but I remember reading...
