A rail worker apparently risked his life to save a cyclist who had no idea he was about to get hit by a train in this astonishing CCTV footage.
The man appeared to be pushed out of the way just moments before they both were about to be killed in the most heart-stopping near-miss.
The video emerged from a source who claims to be in the railway industry.
However some have questions the providence of the clip - claiming the train has been edited in at a later date.
The 52-second clip captures a man, who appears to be wearing a beanie hat or possibly headphones, stumbling and falling as he crosses a single railway track with his bike.
It is believed the man may have been drunk.
He then slowly gets up and throws the bike to the other side.
But then, in stomach-churning scenes, the man continues to stay in the middle of the track, picking up items from the floor and putting them back into a bag.
He is facing the opposite way from an oncoming train, and appears not to be able to hear it approaching.
One of the rail workers, wearing orange overalls, realises the horror that is about to unfold and starts to sprint towards the man.

The heroic worker then throws himself at the cyclist, pushing him out of the path of the train, seemingly avoiding catastrophe just in the nick of time.
The pair fall down onto the side of the tracks and as the train passes another rail worker can be seen curled up in a foetal position, apparently traumatised by what he has witnesses.
The hero's colleagues then run over, inspecting both men to see if they are hurt.
It is not known where or when the incident took place, but it is believed to be in the UK.
Network Rail have been contacted for comment.
The operator has frequently warned about the dangers of trespassing on railway tracks in the past.
In July, an adult and a child narrowly escaped being hit by a train at a pedestrian crossing in near Waltham Cross, Hertfordshire.
Mark Brunnen, head of level crossings at Network Rail said at the time: "Be extra vigilant on or near level crossings and never cross if you can see a train coming.
"It is difficult to judge a train’s speed – you have much less time than you think before the train is upon you.
"Network Rail is improving level crossing safety across Britain, investing more than £100m, but we need motorists, cyclists and pedestrians to do their bit too.
"By paying attention to the warnings at level crossings and avoiding distractions we can all keep ourselves out of harm's way."
