Back when the class 170 turbostars were still owned by I'm, they had this and I don't know what it is if anyone knows then do reply.

So I've noticed on all trains on the headlights there's a normal white headlight but there's also a small line one next to it and I'm not sure what it's for if anyone could help me that would be great, I have also supplied a photo
