Also, rumors abound West Coast is also being hired for a Preston Euston and return service using 86401/259, not sure what coaching stock is being used.
LSL are now not doing Preston only Manchester using the mk3 set.
So why has scotsman been pulled from the Euston- Crewe leg, was looking forward to seeing this loco for ages.

Definatley 37421 saw yesterday, also 37069 on the blocks at dirft and the two 37/7 stabled side by side in the tesco terminal. Just like the old days when 37's were common around the Rugby area.

The WCML modernisation brought it all back when we had class 37's and 31's stabled at Rugby on engineering trains backed up with any other class of loco that moved at the time.:D
