Bournemouth to London Waterloo season ticket

The only thing the website says is "free drink". Apart from a wider seat it's not much to offer. However if the train is so packed in std that I can't get a seat, I would consider paying for 1st. I need to work on the train each way so it's worth the money to me.

Bournemouth to London Waterloo season ticket

My job has occasionally meant catching the train from Bournemouth to London Waterloo. This will soon become daily. Therefore I'll be getting a season ticket. Does anyone do this? Is it worth going for first class i.e. are the early services so packed you can't get a seat e.g. the 06:56...

    First Class

Bigger and more comfortable seating, table, power point, wifi, free tea/coffee/water, food if I want it which is of decent quality and at reasonable price.

    Free WiFi on SouthWestTrains

I use the wifi once or twice a fortnight and don't have any problems. Whereas my 3G connection via O2 is virtually unusable. Perhaps I've just been lucky so far!

    First Class

I'd say First Class travel in the UK is generally disappointing. I can't see how they justify the substantial extra cost. On rare occasions I do travel first class especially if I really need to get some work done and need some quiet. However the extras (wider chair, more space and perhaps...

    How to serve Bradford?

Bradford has never been well served by direct trains to London. They come and they go but never seem to be consistent. There's probably a hundred different reasons and I would suggest: 1) The service to/from Leeds is pretty good, from where there are trains to London. 2) Is there demand...

    Free WiFi on SouthWestTrains

There's some truth in that however I much prefer wifi. I use 3G while on trains with no wifi and the coverage is best described as patchy. It depends on the route etc but that's sort of missing the point. On a long distance, say >1 hr, trip where I want to work, I need consistent and reliable...

    Free WiFi on SouthWestTrains

which is all reasonable however could they not install on certain services and restrict the number of units which need kitting out? Or are you saying that about 150 units do the route of say Bournemouth to Waterloo? I still think they should cost it out. Perhaps they have. I would pay and I'm...

    Bournemouth to Waterloo by SWT

I currently use this service on an infrequent basis however I'll soon be commuting this everyday. Does anyone have an opinion on reliability of this long distance service and any particular tips on the best time to travel. (I plan to travel early morning and early evenings at least 4 days per...

    Free WiFi on SouthWestTrains

Just contacted SWT about on-board wifi and received the following: Thank you for your email of 22 October 2010. I am sorry to advise that we do not have WIFI on our trains and do not have any plans to introduce this. That's really disappointing especially as I travel from Bournemouth to...
