At Redhill now. Cancellations shown as trains needing more repairs than normal, GTR and GWR. Any rational reasons?

    Air conditioning on London Buses

Has the NHS said there is a problem with Air Bourne infections currently? Is there real medical evidence? Has Khan declared a problem. I would think heat exhaustion is bigger problem for passengers today.

Got off after 5 stops and observed all lower deck windows open. One. Why fit a/c? Two. Do the batteries work like crap to try...

TfL anti fare evasion effort intensifies

If BR and Tfl are so concerned about the amount of evasion, would it not be a good idea for BR and Tfl to fund a certain number of BT police full time to be available for backing up ticket Teams. This would enable a 7 day presence at say Waterloo ( or elsewhere) for 24 hrs 7 days this should...

Window Hanging Again - heritage railway enthusiast says its ok

We all see cyclists with no high visibility vests or lights at night. Kamikaze food delivery riders. No one gives a hoot in government re there actions.. So why are we being restricted re windows. Cyclists on pavements no one worries despite consequences to pedestrians death, life changing injuries.

Train ran fast with no warning causing passengers to be overcarried (10/11/25)

The 2012 Littlehampton to Victoria tonight was held at Angmering due to passenger communication alarm being pulled. To make up time after Hove, the train ran fast to Haywards Heath with those on board for Preston Park etc stuck on the train, with no notice until Haywards Heath, where the OBS...

    Bluebell Railway Speed restrictions

It also needs to be remembered that we cannot shut for a weekend to remedy faults like NR. We have to cope until the "closed" season. Obviously a serious defect would shut the line immediately. BB is lucky to have ties with industry experts for help when needed.

Why don’t heritage railways make an effort to “sell” diesel traction?

Bluebell are advertising the Hastings Unit. "The Hastings Diesel Unit will work an early, midday and late service in addition to our usual busy summer steam timetable on selected Wednesdays and Fridays throughout the summer holidays."

    Waterloo East.

Due to a gas leak you cannot access Waterloo East from Main concourse or access Waterloo main from the East platforms. Can some one explain why a gas leak shuts a main interchange link for 2 days plus. Whether it's true or not seemingly, the local main network gas contractor has refused to...

Window Hanging Again - heritage railway enthusiast says its ok

I vaguely remember the Gresley Newcastle electric units had pass arm operated sliding doors. No one seemed worried they were open when trundling along. Nice bucket seats. The trouble these days the gene pool is being diluted by people who have no sense of self preservation. Pedestrians on zebra...

Are there any figures for how many people miss trains due to last minute platform alterations?

At NWD the fast London Bridges use P1 every 15 mins. The slow Victoria's twice hourly also use P1. The VIC is tt for 3 mins after the LBG, so the LBG's run late and the Victoria's start at West Croydon, 2 miles away , so the LBGs are diverted to p3 very late so mad scramble very frequently on a...

Elizabeth Line - total loss of signalling 26/11

Travelled in on Thameslink and Southern caught a Jubilee in morning, now on DLR home. No onboard announcement on trains or Station Liz line is kaput. Not good
