Had my medical today, wow those tones are quiet on the hearing test! Also only just had enough pee pee to fill up the cup to the required line haha!
They need to contact my gp regarding a certain part of my medical history but as long as my gp gives the all clear then that should be fine...
Passed my dmi, medical is on Monday, start at the end of may as trainee Mainline driver based at clacton, so east side won't be starting off as depot this time for some reason.
Don't worry about it, I was worried about mine and it was no way near as bad as I expected, I was interview by 2 managers and both were very friendly and polite and made me feel at ease. I should find out by Friday whether I passed of not. Best of luck mate you'll be fine.
Haven't had my interview yet, it's this coming Friday, feeling more apprehensive about this one than the MMI, I'm doing all the prep i can though, will let you know how it goes.
It was a bit weird how it happened, I got a text message saying I had received an email, however I checked my inbox and there was no email to be found, I emailed Amy to find out what was going on and she replied with the dmi invite email that I should have received the first time around. So yes...
I haven't been given a date for DMI yet, haven't even got a rough clue as to when it might be. Yes this is for the most recent recruitment advertising.
Thanks, yeah I did think it could be a combination of the two.
I am prepping for my Greater Anglia DMI yes, to be honest I'm feeling more apprehensive about this interview then I was for the MMI... at least with the MMI you get a rough idea of what sort of questions will be asked so you can...
Hi all
Just looking for a pointer in the right direction regarding this question and how to answer it properly.
Are they looking for you to tell them about the competency side of things such as "I know the role of a train driver would involve remaining vigilant at all times" etc etc...
Thanks for the reply, very reassuring, even more so since I received the call earlier confirming I've passed my MMI, just need to wait for a date for the DMI now.
Hi all
Recently completed stage 1 and the computerised parts of the stage 2 driver assessments (just awaiting mmi results)
I've been wondering about the outcome of my medical (if I get to that stage ) because I've had a couple of blips in the past where I have been prescribed...
I passed stage 1 today, I personally thought I had done below average in terms of the amount of questions I answered but I must have done ok because I passed. There were 10 people at the assessment today including me (2 internal 8 external), 3 people got sent home early.
Back to Stratford on...
