Probably the best thing to do would be to ban trains completely. This way the poor incredibly stupid could be much safer. Even better make everybody stay at home!

Wow, tough guy. If you are lucky they won't be carrying a knife! The reason for good social behaviour originates from the fact that it is impossible to know the mental state of a fellow passenger. Take care people..

I wonder if it might be possible to adapt an American gen set loco with new cabs to fit the UK loading gauge. The bodies of these locos are smaller than locomotives like the SD70.

There seems to be a really important point being missed here. So, a person gets on a form of public transport. They leave a large, or small, bag on the train or whatever. They then leave the train, without the bag. Would you move it or look in the bag? Only if you don't believe in terrorists...
