This nonsense was a desperate attempt to stop the continuous background of random queries from AI systems, and much to my surprise it has worked so far.
There are 679 users registered at the moment.

My database contains all the allocations since 17 October, and 777047 hasn't been used in that time. Presumably a second Christmas tree. I don't know where it is, though.
On my web site you can see the raw-ish data from TRUST including the time it was entered into the system. As people above have said, the signaller at Scarborough didn't enter the times until well after the train had gone.
Go to the train and then press Display schedule in old format.
Many thanks all for the nice comments and good advice. I've decided to try a very simple registration solution, and it's just gone live.

So far, so good. Load is down to negligible levels, and 20 accounts registered.

The more I think about this the better it seems. As there is no payment involved I don't have to worry too much about data security, I probably won't even collect an email address, just have username and password. It will require a cookie on your machine.

We are aware of an issue with emails from the Forum to Microsoft-based email accounts (hotmail/outlook/live.com email addresses). This is being looked into currently, thanks for your patience meanwhile.
