The Plymouth City Bus service 48 City Centre - Plymstock - Wembury, from Sunday 2nd September 2018, although there is no Sunday service. https://assets.goaheadbus.com/media/timetable_pdf/48_AW_030818AH_18-4986_TIMETABLES_SEPT_2018.pdf

If it were to be possible that would be very useful for me. After the 18.15 no 48 from Royal Parade, that is included in the new timetable, a departure, perhaps by extending an existing 5 service around 20.30 and 23.00 would be great and make the 48 service far more usable for a day/evening out.

["DaveHarries - Interesting point about the morning provision although I wonder if the person who uploaded the new TT to TSW might have missed one out? (I wonder what the 0906 Plymouth to Wembury journey works beforehand?). As for evening provision I could hardly see a call for that where...

    Plymouth Citybus

Whilst not wanting to be ungrateful that Plymouth City Bus are trying to improve the 48 Wembury service, I personally am not sure what it achieves over the 48 as provided by Stagecoach. The morning service still causes problems for people who start work between 9am and 9.30 and there is no...

    Stagecoach West/South West/South Wales - Fleet News & Discussion

I had forgotten that the 48 used to go via Prince Rock and the 23.05 last bus. It was great for returning home after an evening out in Plymouth. It also continued (on request) from Wembury to Heybrook Bay. Seems like another world ago now!

Yes I have been travelling on the 48 since the mid 1990's when it was provided by Western National under Badgerline ownership. The service has been significantly cut back since those days and currently there is no Sunday service at any time of the year. Since Stagecoach took over the service a...

I would imagine that the potential issue with the Dawlish Warren to Teignmouth sea wall section will have been considered. The Cross Country Voyager trains are prohibited from this section when the waves are breaking over the sea wall, does anyone know if this is likely to be a problem with the...

    Stagecoach West/South West/South Wales - Fleet News & Discussion

Unfortunately it appears that for some reason the Stagecoach Explorplus day ticket (I think it is called the Devon Explorer from Plymouth City Bus) at £8.50 cannot be purchased from the drivers on the Falcon service. It is, however, valid on it between Taunton and Plymouth, which means...
