VF05 ETJ has spent the afternoon on the 525 today (4 August). I believe this is the first instance of Eurocoaches using a decker on the route, although Stagecoach did use one on occasions.

Perhaps they are using it to train engineering apprentices?

Apart from Sundays (and bank holidays), the 525 timetable looks the same as that being run today by Stagecoach?

I assumed from the previous post (#32,883) on the Y2C that it was going to incorporate the 918, and that was where the requirement for deckers came from?

That’ll be just the timing load (the basis on which the train is timed) reflecting what point-to-point times are available in TPS; not necessarily which mode is actually being used in practice.

Perhaps the time has come to end the £1.75 fares freeze.

You wouldn’t get a double-decker under the bridge on Avon Street, so it will have to remain single-deck.

It’s difficult to tell as according to bustimes.org YW68 PCY has never tracked with Eurocoaches, so either it had really broken down or it just wasn’t tracking.

There are parallels here with First taking over the Bath Bus Company and transferring the A4 route to First West of England.

Are you sure? Eurocoaches were using a minibus at Broad Quay this lunchtime as a crew change ferry vehicle.

Bustimes.org is showing that of the 11 buses on the 74 at present, 9 are U11DD and 2 are B9TL, so you’ve been lucky to get a B9TL!
