I have been give promotion to trainee driver but I’m still waiting to get released. It’s been over 6 months since I got the job and I have not been put on to training salary as HR say that ‘it doesn’t apply to drivers and conductors awaiting courses’ if anyone can tell me what Scotrail policy...
We are short staffed as one of our relief is on maternity from Saturday. They have known for about 6 months she was going on maternity but only advertised her job 2 weeks ago
I have been offered a post as a Driver with Scotrail. They have asked for me to be realeased from my current position but my manager has declined, is there any time scale where you have to be released?

Thanks!! Hopefully be much the same as yours. Don’t know if it’s right or not got told about balance test and they tell you an address then ask you the address part of the way through the medical.
Hi, I have a conditional job offer as a trainne driver for Scotrail. At present I’m a SGB Shunter/ Dispatcher for Scotrail and was wondering what the medical is like for a driver? If anyone has any advice it would be great.
Hi, just wondering can anyone help with advise for Scotrail Drivers psychometric test. I have had my mangers interview and past and told I will be going for the test in next couple of weeks. All the drivers in my home depo did the old test so if anyone can help it would be great.
