Since the timetable change, the 1649 (old 1650) from Euston is now formed of 4 cars. Ludicrous that a peak service has 4 cars. Absolutely rammed all the time it is and on Tuesday 21st Jan, the service was taken off the board in the main concourse more than 5 mins before departure and the doors...
My experience of another operator is exactly the same. One morning I was delayed by 2hrs+ travelling from Tring to Euston about a month ago. On the same day I had a further 1hr+ delay coming back the other way in the evening. I claimed twice. The lesser of the 2 claims was rejected due to me...
Looking at the timetable, the next train back from Cheddington was 0124hrs service, taking 2hrs 29mins (presumably back into London!). Leighton Buzzard would have been the same scenario I believe.
The train in question is 2K43 2344hrs from Euston - my apologies and thank you Kingsbury Jn. My wife said basically they shot through Tring and then the driver jammed the brakes on. They stopped for a few minutes (presumably for driver to report the failed stop) and then went forward to...
Hello all,
Some advice if possible please?
My wife was coming back from London Euston to Tring on the 5th December around 2230-2300hrs. The train she was on sailed straight through Tring station (a booked calling point), stopped North of the station for a while and then went on to Cheddington...
To further complicate things, a guy next to me at the front of the train who was suffering from claustrophobia, eventually reached his limit, pulled the emergency door lever and has legged it over the tracks towards North Wembley. Unbelievable Jeff!
Not very helpful to the OP at all and quite wrong to jump to conclusions.
What train line and what station?
Was there a TVM the OP's daughter missed?
Was the TVM out of service?
If there was a TVM, did it accept cash and cards?
So many other factors to consider. Also, why the need to mention...
0530hrs service from Tring on Tuesday. Revenue protection were on board and waited until the doors closed at Hemel before beginning their check. One passenger got a PF as he had no ticket. The same passenger regularly gets on without a ticket and generally buys one from the conductor only if...
So I think what we're saying is that there are multitude of options! I believe TRI-HRW, off at HRW, onward to WIJ, then off to validate oyster and onward to WBP?
It's only a London Terminals ticket.
I think the best course of action is to jump off at Wembley Central, validate the Oyster and continue that way. Still seems the cheapest even as I'll be doing the same journey in reverse later on that day. Or is it? Does a return from Wembley Central to West...
Hello,
I have a TRI-EUS annual gold card but need to get to West Brompton on Thursday morning instead of Euston. My question is, where does my season ticket validity end and can I just buy a return from this station to West Brompton and use it in conjunction with my season?
Also, does doing...
0805 Tring-Euston service this morning formed of the 4 blue and purple FCC cars only. Left people on the platform at Watford and still have to stop at Harrow! Scrum down.
Me too. There appears to be little or no redundancy built in. They can't even manage to paint one of the 4 car 319 sets in LM colours. It's been with them for ages in blue and purple and they've resorted to painting a white LM sign over the FCC logo. I complained about the failing 319's and...
