While waiting at Lancaster station, a London Midland class 350 pulled into platform 3 and stopped at the north end of the platform.
I take it that this is for driver training purposes?
Does anybody know where it is heading? Will it be Barrow or Glasgow?

I've just seen a pendolino leaving Lancaster (heading north to Glasgow central).
It was originally supposed to leave Lancaster at 21.57 but didn't depart til 00.24 and was running 144 minutes late.
I was wondering if anybody had any info on why it was running so late.

Apologies it must have been platform 7, as there's the 17.56 virgin pendolino to London Euston arriving at platform 6.
I was near WHSmiths so it was quite hard to see which platform it was at.
