Will be grateful for any help, ar kids just applied you see
Hi mate, ye there are plenty of apprenticeships knocking about on the railway. Network Rail offer them every year, I applied this year to do signalling, but they take on for track, and overhead lines too, i'm not sure if the deadline has passed yet. But if you check out this link you can...
No there's only one column on there and its my job application status, like i say it just sayd 'on hold' and if i look at the other jobs i've appled for underneath it says like 'unsuccessful-at application' 'unsuccessful-at shortlisting'
so i think its my application status
Apologies if this thread is already on here, but I have a question, I recently applied for a trainee conductors role with FTPE at York, I received a response almost immediately saying that my application was rejected, this was maybe 3-4 weeks ago, I just checked my First profile page just to see...
Thanks a lot for the response guys, just had the email through to confirm it, the status channged yesterday on the First Group website, Oh well, every day's a school day isn't it, just quite surprised that they consider my application slightly more for a job i've never done, whereas to a job...
Really? Because I currently work in retail, so basically all I do is face customers and handle cash, and I mentioned that, I'd love to know where I messed up on that, cos as I say with the train driver applications i've always got a lot further, and I thought i'd be more suited at this stage to...
Slightly off topic this, but I applied for the trainee conductors job yesterday at York, and within 24 hours it said unsuccesful at application, now I know my application wasn't that bad as i've applied for the trainee driver positions before and never been knoocked back at the application...
I live in York, I applied for that on a whim, got knocked back straight away cos of where I live, and now can't apply for the FTPE vacancy cos it was less than 3 months ago, so my advice to you mate if you live in England, just apply for the FTPE jobs instead, there's more available too, plus...
Apologies if this is already a thread, i'm just wondering if anyone else has applied for the Shunters job with First Capital Connect and if you have, have you heard anything back?
Thanks
I applied to South Yorks and still not heard anything back yet, same with Leeds and Hull, i got my rejection from Manc Picc a few weeks ago. Anybody else heard anything from the other Yorkshire places?
I don't know if i'm that positive about this, because i also received that email today and when i went back through my application i had answered one of the questions completely wrong wiith an irrelevant answer that had transferred over from a previous question that was on the same part of the...
Hi Paul, there's a thread here on the second page about the Northern Visual Test, hope this is of some help to you.

Again never said anything along those lines. If you feel the need to be childish and immature then fair enough, but what i said doesn't even come close to that.
Just to confirm I actually said London is a great place didn't mention anything about it being posh, cos there are areas that aren't, i said that basically every place other than London is completely sterile and is just one of them places you look at and think 'what is the point in this town'
