FTPE Trainee Conductor

Apologies if this thread is already on here, but I have a question, I recently applied for a trainee conductors role with FTPE at York, I received a response almost immediately saying that my application was rejected, this was maybe 3-4 weeks ago, I just checked my First profile page just to see of any new jobs have come up and that application now says 'On Hold' whereas before it said 'Unsuccessful at application'
Just wondering if anyone can enlighten me to whats happening here?

Can you confirm, does it say YOUR application is on hold or the actual job is on hold. I believe there two separate columns.

No there's only one column on there and its my job application status, like i say it just sayd 'on hold' and if i look at the other jobs i've appled for underneath it says like 'unsuccessful-at application' 'unsuccessful-at shortlisting'
so i think its my application status

Ahh fair enough, that's a strange one. I asked the question as my app with virgin was ON HOLD but the job got pulled and that then went to ON HOLD and I didn't notice for a while as I just kept assuming it was my app on hold.

My short and very limited experience with FTPE is their IT skills are not too great. As soon as I stuck in my app for trainee driver they sent me a form asking for all my safety records from my current train driving job which I obviously don't have.

Maybe drop them an e-mail enquiring about it.
