I'm arriving at Platform 2 at Stevenage and have only 4 minutes to cross to Platform 4. My arrival is on a 9-coach LNER Azuma from York. Which would be the best coach to ensure I exit near the stairs for the crossover bridge, please? 81 years old, with only a backpack. TIA

I cannot remember Gag. I just recall immediately thinking that it looked like traditional Intercity stock, so yes, I'm pretty sure that it had ribbed sides. I notice that Giugiaro has not been online since I started the thread. Hopefully he will pick this up soon and put my mind at rest!
