"TRTS" is short for "Tram Ready To Start" - basically driver indicating via a push switch that the tram is ready to move and signal selected ahead via track loops.

Yeah I remember that, but I am on about the old one as it never ever seemed to have been used. well not to my knowledge.

Actually since my previous message we had the new one built replacing the old out-of-use one, and indeed we can and do use it when required. It was used when we first re-opened the street section between Priestfield and The Royal until they finished rebuilding Wolverhampton St Georges stop.

Hiya, sorry for the delay - yes it was used in the early days but soon fell out of use and was decommisioned a long time ago with the overheads being re-wired to take it out of use...
