The domestic platforms are long enough at Waterloo for the GW sleeper. but they have no run around facilites and nowhere for them to have a shunt loco stabled , unless one was to run in from old oak.
Its only the caledonian sleeper that wouldn't fit in waterloo. Our train runs in a 16 car...

the reason i ask, the class 119's i used to travel on from North Camp.. i'm building a 35ft x 15ft layout, i want to model either Farnborough Main or Winchester. era 1989/1990. but i want it as authentic as possible. the wessex question is purely me just wondering.
Does anyone know if a Class 119 Gloucester Unit has ever been to either Winchester or Farnborough Main ???

i travelled on the Monday on the 08.18 from Westbury and the 14.26 from Waterloo. we clocked her doing 107mph at Hook, 105mph through Farnborough and 104mph through Pirbright .
