Class 442 Wessex and Class 119 Gloucester Units????

Does anyone know if a Class 119 Gloucester Unit has ever been to either Winchester or Farnborough Main ???

and if a Wessex Electric has ever been to Reading ???

I also think it's highly unlikely that a 442 would have ever ventured to Reading, either from Basingstoke or from Clapham Junction

442s have run to Windsor, including the farewell tour, but I would have thought that they were not cleared to Reading? Obviously they could not have run on juice from Basingstoke.

The (public) baseline declaration of 2009 has 442s only cleared as far as Virginia Water on the Reading route.

Basingstoke - Reading as hauled stock requires pick up shoe removal, so that's basically for transfers to works only.

Regarding class 119s to Winchester, I thought the only diesel services that worked on the Southern region in were either 33/47/50 haulage or DEMUs in the 20X range, apart from some 11X units on some of the secondary diesel lines. IIRC, these wouldn't be 119s as they were always WR and Midlands units. I suppose a 119 could have worked a Cardiff/Bristol - Portsmouth/Brighton working, but these don't run via Winchester.

the reason i ask, the class 119's i used to travel on from North Camp.. i'm building a 35ft x 15ft layout, i want to model either Farnborough Main or Winchester. era 1989/1990. but i want it as authentic as possible. the wessex question is purely me just wondering.

If the Class 442's ever went to Reading would it not have been along the Waterloo - Reading route rather than via Basingstoke?

Even using the Waterloo - Reading route as SWT passenger points out they are only cleared as far as Virgina Water.
