I recently passed a school bus service near where I live (County Durham) displaying route number 5001, and It made me wonder how many bus routes around the country use four digit numbers?
Three digits max has always seemed to be the common standard, since manual blind displays always had 3...
Does Margate Platform 2 get used very often? I only visit once a year but in all of the times I have used the station I have never seen any departures scheduled from platform 2.
Something that has been bugging me about Deltics (and other loco hauled trains on the ECML for that matter). At London Kings Cross the platforms all end at buffers, meaning the locomotive would be 'trapped' by the coaches. My question is how did the trains 'turn around' to come back north? Was...

Moray is starting...
I say good to all these people. It shows the government the general public are fed up of restrictions and won't put up with being told what to do anymore. And I don't see it extending the lockdown as it's less than 14 days until the next stage so too soon for any impact on the data.
I'm wondering who the 'Whitehall Source' is. For all we know it could be a cleaner who has overheard something. Or it could be someone over exaggerating on what has actually been discussed to get a more sensational story.
Also until Autumn could be anytime between September and December.
