Trivia - Four digit route numbers?

I recently passed a school bus service near where I live (County Durham) displaying route number 5001, and It made me wonder how many bus routes around the country use four digit numbers?

Three digits max has always seemed to be the common standard, since manual blind displays always had 3 number reels, but with electronic displays now standard, any number is possible.

Stagecoach route number 1066 runs from Hastings - Battle - Hawkhurst - Tunbridge Wells and i was just thinking the other day that i have never seen another bus route with a four digit route number. It is very unique to be four digits long. So my question is whether there are currently any other...

Stagecoach route number 1066 from Hastings - Battle - Hawkhurst - Wadhurst - Tunbridge Wells is the only regular ordinary public route. The rest are school routes or a few international coach routes. There is a detailed list of all of them on post number #14 on the linked thread.

NXWM had a history with 4 digit routes.. Well, mainly 900E and 900X, or any 9xxE route which terminated early.

Going back, to (pre-?) NBC Bristol Omnibus were noteworthy for using 4 track route number displays (although vehicles for Bristol City services did change to the normal 3 track ones, after all the City routes were brought down to 2 digits+suffix). But I don't think they had 4 digit route numbers, just 3 digits+suffix.

A few years ago I took a summer holiday in a ski resort at the head of a valley in Austria. There was a local bus network to take people further up into the mountains. The routes all had 4 digit route numbers and I found that I had difficulty remembering which bus ran where. I am sure I would have found it easier if they had had one or two digit numbers. There was no danger of them getting mixed up with with routes from elsewhere as they ran to remote dead end locations and the main access to the village from outside was by train.
