    GCSE certificates from 1995

Hi all Bit of a long shot, but I am starting as a GWR Apprentice Driver in August and they have asked for GCSE certificates to show that I have Maths and English. Having passed 30 years ago, and never being asked for them (hence losing them/throwing them out), I was wondering if anyone knows...

I bought a mini drone for around £20 and created an air course similar to the track on the 2 hand test. Worked out well.

GWR - Trainee Train Driver - Recruitment Discussion

Hi. Been invited to assessment centre on 17th April for Plymouth. The time is 0830 - 1700. Have they changed to include all tests including MMI in one day? When I did it 6 years ago, it was over 2 separate days. Thanks

GWR - Trainee Train Driver - Recruitment Discussion

Google maps says my journey to the station is typically 45 mins to 1 hr 5 mins, if I leave at 0800. Will they use the 1st or 2nd time? I have already applied for Plymouth which was in September but only completed video interview on that one. Cheers

There is also an online version but would always recommend printing off sheets as that is the real test. https://metodorf.com/tests/bourdon_test.php

GWR - Train Manager / Conductor Recruitment and Discussion

Have you had your interview yet? I've done 3 online tests (Numerical, TPT and SCAAT) and awaiting next test hopefully. What was the process after these tests? Straight to interview? Hope it went well if already had the interview. Cheers

I believe they count in rows, not columns, and I would concentrate on being as accurate as possible, even if it means slowing down a bit. I think I got around halfway down when I did it and easily passed. :)

No it's a verbal reasoning test. They provide a passage of text and you have to answer True, False or Cannot Say. Hope that helps

    Mmi

GWR said that we would have to do the whole lot again... I have sent them an email and will wait for their response! Many Thanks

    Mmi

Hi So can you just sit the MMI without the others? I passed the paper and computer tests in 2019 but failed on 2 questions on the MMI. I'd happily pay for the MMI but don't really want to sit the others again! Cheers

    Talent pool Plymouth (trainee driver)

Yeah, I rang them that day and they told me the 2 questions I failed on. I was quite surprised really as my examples are pretty good! Never mind

Failed the MMI on 2 questions. Gutted is an understatement. Then 3 days later they pulled the train manager positions that I passed stage 1 for.
