Just put an application in for the above job. Not hugely certain what the role entails beyond the key points in the job description.

I’ve been invited to complete an online assessment test.

Does anyone have any idea what the assessment is likely to focus on please?

Maths, English, mechanical comprehension test??

No it's a verbal reasoning test.

They provide a passage of text and you have to answer True, False or Cannot Say.

They're not. "Shunters" at GWR don't drive anything, they're ground shunters.

The role AIUI is a bit of a general depot dogs body. Does a bit of everything where needed. Like an old fashioned shed labourer

Thanks, I think I remember now from an old thread, they are internal psychometric tests, not unlike some of the guard tests.
