Contact controlling signal box and act on instructions, we do have GSM-R you know!
Cheers :) but sometimes the pesky GSM-R can put you through to the wrong box..
Hi.
The GWR mainline from Exeter St Davids down to Penzance does it still have semaphore signalling and Absolute block sections or is it all colour light TCB now??
Many thanks Darren.
When I depart on an HST, I always apply notch 2 or 3 if needed, then when speed is about 20-25 mph gradually open up more power.... Unless it was back in the Valenta engine days and there were a few spotters wanting to hear the Valenta scream......... Then it was full wack :D
Ok that sounds good. I am a current driver with 15 years experience of driving HST`s out of London and i am looking at moving to Devon or Cornwall. I would love to work driving over the branch lines but do not want to give up the HST work......My application has been sent in to the GWR...
Hi, I am looking for any information on being a driver for GWR at Exeter.
What sort of routes do you work?, traction?, annual leave allowance? etc etc
Do you have a High speed link and a separate local link?
Any help will be great.
Darren
