I've seen photos recently of a MK3 with it's VTEC vinyls stripped, showing the NXEC livery underneath, so I imagine it would be the same for the MK4s

168214 heading off to Crewe for refurb this morning. Edit 14/10: 168110 has re-entered service this morning.

170106 has returned from Crewe today with 170618 taking its place.

Why would they paint it in a livery that technically isn't theirs? Also, weren't they all supposed to be getting a black/red livery to replace both current liveries the sets have?

HD08 is made up of ex VTEC livery MK4s, that's an ex Grand Central set, one of HD04-HD07

Yep, both 001 & 110 did the run to Aylesbury. Correct about 165029, 013 & 022 too.

I don't believe it's been mentioned but didn't they once haul the sleeper set from Old Oak into Paddington? Before OOC closed and the 57s had to TnT from Reading instead

There's undoubtedly a lot of checks probably needing to be done on the green ones. Getting them fit to run from Wolverton wouldn't be the same as them being fit for passenger service
