Hi, am looking to see a class 08 shunter working on the national network i.e. Not preserved/heritage. Any advice on the best location for this? Any advice gratefully received.
Haywards Heath: nr Sainsburys; soon to be adjoining Waitrose
Cooden Beach: used to be a small supermarket/booking hall i.e. the same guy who sold you your groceries would sell you your tickets
Horley: 2 minutes from Waitrose
Maybe a silly question but I've been wondering what the purpose of the black triangle on the front of heritage DEMU/EMU is. Some units only have a yellow front whilst others have the triangle as well so I'm assuming that this is not/was not a regulatory requirement.
Many thanks for shedding...
Managed 30 mins in Marseille last year on a day return from London...
If you want slightly longer at your destination then Le Touquet changing at Calais is an option.
you might want to try the e300 if you are have to go to Brussels (e320 interior in a class 373.) Eurostar contact centre may be able to tell you which services these will be running from but it's not possible to tell from the seat map as this is the same for e300/TMST
When (American Airlines I think it was) were moved out to Gatwick from Heathrow, part of the deal was that there would be a dedicated "express" service from Gatwick to central London. Otherwise, BA etc. would have lost some of their prime slots at US airports - or so I've heard. This means that...
Hello All,
does anyone know which Gatwick Express services are diagrammed to run as 387s as of Monday?
Apologies if this has already been asked elsewhere.
Many thanks in advance.
Both e300 and e320 have the same (new style) seating. The e300 is a refurbished TMST whilst the e320 is a new unit. Whilst e320s don't currently run to Brussels, the e300 does so beware!
The eurostar call centre may be able to tell you whether the train you intend to take is an old style...
