Don’t know which circuit yet but first 730’s looking to be out in service Monday. Drivers currently being signed off from ECS moves to passenger service this week.
The 350/2 are being converted to 110mph running starting this week. Doubt they are being replaced with 319’s, only a handful of drivers sign them at Bly.
I'm in the middle of my driving hours at Bletchley. We did all our training at Bletchley but I believe the group that started last week are at Northampton which is better as you would be classed as a Bletchley driver so would be able to claim overtime for traveling!

If the rear unit is still in the neutral section then it's VCB will be closed. You can run 2 350's on one pan but 110v cross feed would have to be in place first, generally only used in times of assistance.
The starting signal on the up slow has a theatre box with "F" rather than a feather board for the move over to the up fast. It's possible the theatre box could of failed or the driver was unsighted, could explan the speed the loco was going????
A few of the dispatchers at Euston are going on to be conductors at bletchley in the next few months, I was starting to get worried that there would be no one to dispatch us!

As a Bletchley guard I find some of this thread quite Offensive. How would you feel if someone who doesn't work in the same industry as you made comments about your skills and ability in your role on a public forum.
I also find it shocking that in these times of high unemployment some people...
