Initial observations from Day 1.
With the withdrawal of 5/5A Paul and Sheffield are currently totally unserved for the time being with the medium term closure of the hill up from Newlyn.
Based purely on Bus Times, Chy-an-Gweal Estate in Ludgvan is not being served with the 17 stickiing to A30...
Just noticed a change to the routing of Service 15 between St Erth and Penzance in the new timetable.
From St Erth to Marizion the routing is unchanged but in the other direction, instead of going via Rosevidney, buses continue up to Crowlas and along the A30 to St Erth interchange before...
The detailed timetable suggests the new 17 will be bypassing Ludgvan and staying on the A30, which we leave the lower part of the village without any service.
Can you read anything into what is missing?
Clearly some ex First services such as the U4 can be covered by existing registrations (i.e. Service 2) but presumably the 'E' suffixes can cover the 17 to Pendeen and T1 between Camborne & Penzance, but I'm not sure there is anything that could be...
From personal experience remarkably so!
Three journeys on the train from Farnborough to Guildford all spot on time and RRB from Guildford to Gatwick in the morning peak left bang on time and arrived at the Airport 20 minutes early. I was on train the Haywards Heath, before I was suppose to...
That's a real pain, I use the service frequently in conjunction with other Stagecoach services in the Blackwater Valley using their Day Rider, so a substantive price increase for no benefit. :(
I had the same issue with GWR on a recent journey. My appeal was rejected and my follow on complaint also turned down. I then asked for a deadlock letter as I thought this was something the Ombudsman might actually rule on as it certainly goes against the spirit of Delay Repay.
I response to...
As bundles are available until Saturday I shall be stocking up, as the tickets are still valid for 12 months..... Just need to estimate how many I need.
Also the Family Weekly is still available on First App for £30, which was the summer holiday discount. Children don't seem to be a...
Thanks for the suggestion - better than anything Go Cornwall came up with!
The section is indeed there, but unfortunately no tickets, so guessing 'recent' is less than a week.
Later on in the day, I made 3 further journeys where card clash didn't occur. This is strange in itself in that the physical card was still in the physical wallet, but maybe I held it differently. Presumably that usage should show on their system and whilst not cast-iron evidence, it would be...
Haywain's interpretation is correct - it was a physical card, sat within my physical phone covering. The phone had a digital ticket enable, but the ticket machine on the bus took payment off my physical card first.
Not sure if this should be in the buses or fares section of the Forum, but as it is a fares dispute I’ve posted here!
I purchased a 1-day bus ticket from Go Cornwall on their App, which is fully inter-available on all First Kernow services.
However, on two journeys I made that day on First...
The change to the Lands End Coaster is different to that in the published timetable which has the mid-season level of service operating in September not the low level.
Seem to be a few gremlins on the system at the moment! All timetables for Go Cornwall have been set as from 14th April, so nothing showing for any timetables before then!
We are aware of an issue with emails from the Forum to Microsoft-based email accounts (hotmail/outlook/live.com email addresses). This is being looked into currently, thanks for your patience meanwhile.
