Double vaccinated and due to get my booster in a few days, but I tested positive this morning on a LFT. Off to get a PCR this afternoon. Very flu like symptoms at the moment, which hopefully won't last too long.
A few years back during engineering works we were taken up those steps on to replacement coaches (that I think went all the way to Banbury) that were waiting on Rossmore Road.
That's interesting, there doesn't seem to be much consensus when I've searched on when it was demolished- other years mentioned have been 1988 and 1990...
Despite much searching I've not been able to find any images of the flyover at East Putney before it was removed- I believe this was around the late 80s or early 90s so I'm hoping one exists! Does anyone have a photo, or can anyone point me in the right direction?

Quick question, but one that's puzzled me for a while- some freight only lines are described as being not rated or unsuitable for passenger use, but what exactly makes them like this? Is it poor track condition, poor signalling or something else? Thanks in advance.

when passing the depot at Tyseley a few weeks ago I noticed that some of the carriages stored there are still in their 'Regional Railways' livery- are there any other (easily viewable) examples of rolling stock still in old BR livery, especially from the RR/Intercity/NSE days?
