Reading your exploits in Devon made me think of all the power I had on various trips - worked it out that I had classes 31, 33, 37, 43, 45, 47, 50, 57 and 67 on the sea wall at various times between 1984 - 2017. The 50's were my favourite of all those - many happy memories

I'm happy that my hometown station has made the list. Every visit brings back memories of 31s & 47s idling away at the buffer stops while Cravens dmus smoked away. It's a lot quieter with the Flirts now, but still a gem. Not too far away, Wymondham is worth a look as well - decent station bistro!

Paddington - happy memories of 50s & HSTs beneath that great roof. Marylebone. Has an almost provincial feel Kings Cross. The new development has improved it a lot. Love the roof over the main line platforms
