East Yorkshire Motor Services, now part of Go-Ahead

Was sold about 3 years ago and is now used by a business for storage. If it has not been scrubbed of yet by tyres a red line was painted on the forecourt as a do not cross marker for buses terminating there.

Bus operators that do not use Ticketer machines.

Ticketer Handheld machines are and look like simply card readers.

Revenue blockades at stations NOT managed by their TOC

You would be amazed the amount of staff in all industries that are found on social media due to names being on badges and ID cards. All a customer needs to know is a number for your employee to identify you, like PSV badges were for with bus drivers in the good old days.

The majority of new buses entering Group are required for the Silverstone GP contract before entering the owning OpCo service.

    Non-Urgent TOPS Requests

A bit to ask but an elderly gentleman that lives in same street as me was on the Cumbria Coast line yesterday. He was a bit down that when he passed Sellafield he couldn't catch any of the loco numbers due to his eye sight. Could anyone help with this? Thanks in advance.

Disabled Railcard - companion add on.

If a disabled railcard holder has booked a ticket can a companion book the same ticket with the discount at a later date. If this is possible would it be OK if one was on an app and one was a paper ticket?

    North East Round Robin

With a North East Round Robin I would say yes if you start using it at Darlington. So you would get a single from Newcastle to Darlington. Start using the North East Round Robin there then go to Leeds, Carlisle, Newcastle and back to Darlington.

    LNER cancellation email

Thanks for reply. It has a link to refund or change. If I click on the reason being my train was cancelled it only gives me previous dates. If I click on due to industrial action it doesn't recognise the 17th as a strike day.

    LNER cancellation email

I'm booked on the 0440 LNER service from York to London Kings Cross on Friday the 17th March. I've received an email from LNER telling me the service is cancelled due to the strike on the previous day. I still want to travel that day so do I just turn up for the next service or do I need to...

    How far is 60 minutes?

What would the consequences be if after 15 years service you moved. Say you lived across the road from your depot then moved 75 minutes away.

Travelling during a storm on purpose, hoping to get money back (hypothetical)

I've over heard a passenger on the train tell a friend to always buy a return for 10p extra. Then check to see if a train is late on the internet at the end of the day and put a claim in saying that was the train you were on.
