Plenty of variety/haulage through Berlin Hbf - probably a bit better on the upper level? Been a few years since I was last there though so I may be out of date. For freight you'll probably have to venture out to somewhere on the Ringbahn, but I couldn't say where the best place to go would be

Might have seen a couple of older cars today. This one is particularly relevant to this forum... Easily somewhere in the region of £10-£15 million worth of cars at this event!

Somewhat off topic, but is that unit Austrian-registered? I've not come across class 4746s in Germany but plenty in Austria.

Hässleholm? It looks vaguely familiar, though I can't remember if I've actually changed trains there or not...
