Back to Plan A then, which I was going to suggest before Pudsey came along which made me doubt its viability.

Maybe I broadened it out too far :)

Sometimes Plan A is the best plan of action.

Aldershot it is, with an Alder Valley Travel Scania in the Station forecourt and an Aldershot & District Dennis Loline in the Bus Station

[insert angry face here]

Actually, I'll do that:

The layout of the bays (at right angles to the concourse) and the tower block in the background make me think it is Gloucester. I don't remember the railings being so blue, though.

You've been to too many bus stations. And that's coming from another person to have visited too many bus stations!

As I understand it Stagecoach have long wanted to knock down the bus station and build a more modern facility (as opposed to a New Town -esque relic) - but the council keep putting any and all action off.

It has to be said that the buses, especially the E400s on the Goldline 94, are far better than the bus stations...

Might be time to update my log actually. Last it was done, there were only 350 or so posts in this thread, and you hadn't posted once!

EDIT: Just checked; it hasn't been updated for three weeks!

And don't I know it . What bothers me is how many I can remember.

I have only been through Gloucester twice, on National Express coaches some years ago, and what stuck in my mind was, as you say, the newtown like appearance of the bus station. It actually threw me at first, and I went off looking for new town locations!

Next challenge:

This one is not a Bus Station as such, but I think it qualifies for this quiz as there are several stops, all bus services to this place stop or terminate there and it is next to a railway station, providing excellent interchange facilities.

As long as the area serves as an interchange, even if it lacks "Bus Station" (or similar) or "Interchange" in its name, the facility is clear for use.

I'm pretty sure I recognise that place, but I can't place it. It's quite obviously not in London, because it has a standard bus stop and not a TfL one. I'm pretty sure it's not, but Brentwood High Street? (Probably too far from the station to be fair...)

I knew I recognised it

I really should have had that; if nothing else the last one you did was Aldershot! But more importantly I genuinely love Camberley...

There is no real logic behind how I post my Bus Station images, except I have been digging out ones from the south recently, as many of the earlier ones were from up north. Following Aldershot with Camberley was just coincidence, really, a matter of how I felt at the time and how devious I was trying to be: (not very at the moment, unlike an Arriva buses in Keswick and a Green Line coach in Sheffield) :)

Buckingham? (Or is that too far south...)

I've noticed that it says "Whipsnade" on the advert.

EDIT: Make that Buckingham High Street. If I remember from the X5 correctly, Buckingham has no bus station, hence it stopping outside Tesco.

What am I on about...?

That's Bicester. I should know that. Saying "X5" should have made me realise that.

Well route 18 is Buckingham - Bicester so it looks like you've got it ...

PS disappointed that I'm not featuring at all in any of the statistics !

I knew I would regret not covering up the 18 on the Arriva breadvan! Bicester Bure Place is the answer.

Into double figures for correct answers! :p Open floor for now; I may put one up if still available come the more social hours of the day.

You were a near-miss in two of them. You have the fifth highest number of correct answers, with 6, and the fifth best accuracy rate at 46% (so next to all the guys on 50%).
