perhaps once its finished with that it should go take care of the Borrismaster? its failings are my celibrations!
As expected, Kendal are still using all their reserve B10Ms; 20219/474/456 all observed this morning.
20711 was on a 42A as well - I felt sorry for the large number of OAPs on it!
No, not at all sure about 20456. Was from a distance going opposite ways at speed.
I probably am wrong.
17217 coming down High Street Workington this morning, open topping and repanneling complete and probably off for paint!!!
I'm surprised a bus company hasn't gone into the lancaster/morecambe area to compete with stagecoach on the uni services, there only is travellers, battersbys and kirby lonsdale and they have their own routes and some of them are LCC tenders .
The routes operated by Battersby (9, 18, 28) & Travellers (8A, 8C) in Lancaster, are all subsidized by LCC.
Which are currently under review, with the view of possible cut backs, as LCC are still trying to save, yet more money!
Reays could do with a little more rivalling on their West Cumbrian services for a little more 'tussle' over in the West! He really needs to ditch the ruddy Merc 709D's, they may be indestructible and may be Chris's ickle babas he's had since day dot and so wants to keep hold of. There may be little competition with the routes he runs in West Cumbria but the routes deserve better now in todays climate - now that he seems to think he has a firm place in Carlisle (which I agree) as he's lasted this long up in the city, so good on him.
Not like they have £300Million in reserves or anything...oh wait
I think Travellers set a very good example of how LCC tendered services should be run. Battersby should take note.
Now you know I do not like to disagree but I have to here,
I wonder just how much of the lost, mileage on the 8A / 8C actually gets passed to LCC.
Morecambe's 25223 seems to have lost it's rear advert- it did have one, didn't it? Something about the back of it looked odd today anyway...
Im signing off until the New Year now. So I would like to wish everyone a smashing Xmas and a very drunk and crazy New Year.

Gez, is right there is lost milage on 8A / 8C, which LCC is fully aware off.
This lost milage can be put down to the impossible timings by given by LCC and the large number of traffic lights, which as made it near impossible to run a bus service in Lancaster. (i.e. the 8C is allowed 6-mins from the Centenary Building at the RLI to the Bus Station, a distance of 1.3miles, and passes through 11 sets of traffic lights).
Furthermore i dont want to unintentionally and/or accidentally compromise my position as an employee of Stagecoach Cumbria and North Lancashire.
