Unless you seriously think it's possible to go straight from Craigendoran to Mallaig (which I doubt...)

By the way, the rules say you must start at a station that is on a through line - so you were unable to start at Mallaig in any case.

To clarify: We started at Cardross, Lampshade went Craigendoran. I don't think there's any service from Craigendoran that skips Cardross, so there's only 1 way to go, and that will end this leg.
