someone please explain to me why there is a 67 in Arriva, have i missed something big?
was it done at Doncaster, we saw 67003 at the end of July pulling in there...
It looks horrible.

The ATW blue certainly does have that slightly greenish hue that BR blue had: In the same vein as fgwrichs' comment, stick a double arrow logo on the opposite cab to the number and it'd be like British Rail had never left!

It looks horrible.
Horrible? Are you quite mad? This is now locos are supposed to look, and indeed something close to how all locos looked for about 20 years. It's great!
I thought it was photoshopped when i 1st saw it. ATW had better start training their staff if they are going over to 67 & dvt operation in december. That should free up the class 175 which is currently used on WAG2
Looks remarkably like Rail Blue. Looks rather good with the grey roof, although I don't suppose that'd be very practical.
** Actually someone in the comments suggested 'Laira blue anyone'; that's right, it does look rather like 50008, doesn't it.
Wasn't that what I said? No, it looks like a plain blue 67, the same as all the other 67's but a different colour. .
Well yes, exactly: Freeing up a 175 from WAG duties in order to allow it to return to the diagram that it operated previously. How can you free up a 175 when it was detached from duty to cover the WAG, it will give the 175 back to what it was doing before WAG2.
Wasn't that what I said?
Unless I'm missing something here, why does this WAG2 require a DVT? After all, WAG1 uses a 57 at the head but nothing at the rear of the brake coach (normally).
It seems you quoted it looked like a 50?
WAG2 goes via Wrexham
Gotcha. Knew there was something but couldn't think of it.
Excuse my ignorance but why does the train require a DVT if it goes via Wrexham??
