3W90 ran today using 69003 and 69012. Hopefully the use of 69s isn’t going to be typical on these runs, after all, there is an abundance of class 73s at Tonbridge!

Just seen 69010 on its path back to doncaster, its no longer on RHTT because is has an issue with its wheel (i think a wheel flat) that genuinely sounds like earthquake when it goes past

66847 and 66848 have moved onto the Selby diagram leaving 66551 and 66553 to work the South Yorkshire diagram, at this point ill happily take some sort of change lol

Post #150 Update. Most diagrams now running, all 4 57s are in Taunton, 66s swap in York, 3W74/75 still not operating consistently.

One thing I’ve noted on this year’s circuit - Portbury gets two visits per week with a train on Saturdays now, last year it was just the Wednesday one running. On previous years there has been the odd train that skipped this line, one non-timetabled visit and I think I recall one delayed by a fallen tree.

If only the traction for 3S60 was a bit more exciting!

73109 73136 were out on a VSTP bid jolly to West Worthing today, but turned round at Haywards Heath and seemed to have gone all the way back to Tonbridge.

The schedule was a bit creative too, going direct from Hove to Platform 7 at Brighton, which of course is not possible.

Probably just an RTT glitch its never been good at registering set/loco swaps

It seems to have settled as 66705/733 on the East Mids run and 723/778 on the MML one (that’s what it was majority of last week and so far this week), but I did see Monday 723 and 733 were swapped for no apparent reason, but back to normal the next day.

56051 Worked 0Z56 Donny West Yard To York Thrall and immediately jumped on 3S20 with 66848, meanwhile either 66551 or 553 has worked 0Z21 York Thrall To Neville Hill to meet up with 3S21.

Edit: 56051 has been taken off 3S21 at Neville Hill and replaced by whichever 66 arrive on 0Z21,

RTT reporting the same pair doing 3J84 this morning without Matlock in the schedule so may be correct hence it not running last night

Edit: 3J84 looks to have returned back to base without completing the schedule

Nothing, as far as I am aware - the York RHTTs are outbased at Doncaster at the weekend
due to engineering work in the York and/or Church Fenton areas, so I presume that 057
is at Doncaster as a standby loco?
