I just read the description of On Track with Tim’s members only video, and it’s written as though it’s gone.
There is video of it being demolished.

There were engineering trains and on track machines on Huddersfield viaduct on Sunday when I drove past.

Didn't notice any breaks in the steelwork today between Cross Gates and Church Fenton.

Bridge at Church Fenton gone and looking very sorry for itself in the compound, certainly didn't owe anyone anything!

Fixings now appearing around Church Fenton in the wire gap with them clearly using the bridge blockades to get going with the wiring now that the bridge isn't stopping them. Expect the wires to appear during the week blockade, probably after the deck is lifted in. I imagine the bridge team wouldn't thank them for putting some brand new wires in the area of their lift.
Definitely breaks between Cross Gates and Garforth, heading east. Difficult for me to see, but the corresponding westbound masts might be in place.

I will check again today as I didn't see any. Lots of sections with twin track cantilevers. Fixings well on with in that area and they don't usually appear until steelwork is done.

Update
Didn't see any steelwork good cross gates to Garforth. Return conductor is now up most of the way from cross gates to Garforth. Catenary wire up from Thorpe Park all way through to Barkston Ash at least on the Leeds bound line that I can see.

Do we know when East of Leeds is planned to be energised and in use? Fairly soon or is it waiting for the realignment around Neville Hill?

I don't quite know, but it could well be the case that the OLE from Church Fenton is energised to the western Limit of Wiring to the east of Neville Hill (wherever that may be). The sooner it's energised, the slimmer the chance that the copper fairies come to call.

It's weird, because I wouldn't have thought they'd put masts on one side but not the other. It feels as if only one in 10 masts has gone up, eastbound!

I'll see if I can grab some video from the train tomorrow to explain what I mean to people who don't know the area (if I'm awake and remember).
