Active Mainline Steam Locomotives

[GWRPannier1501]

6024 is hauling its first excursion (after its return to steam) on Wednesday 11th November: The Cumbrian Mountaineer from Crewe to Carlisle

I don’t suppose it’s doing anything in the South West until next season?

[HertiageFan]

Apparently Scots Guardsman is hauling the RTC tour tomorrow

If it is, then it has been kept very secret

Where is 45231 at the moment ? Did it go to Margate ?

Its under overhaul at Crewe, LSL Facebook post confirmed in in Post #53 of this thread.

This would be a massive surprise but I really hope you are right, would be nice to get rid of the 'Active... ish' tag and allow me to see some of the vacuum braked locos.

It was in steam with an RTC headboard on it so I can only imagine

Can you provide a source, please? Posting images without a source isn't a good look.

It a a bit irrelevant now, 46115 is now confirmed with CDL mk1s and 47802 on the rear

[JonathanH]

46115 at Leeds this morning, with a rake of Mk1 carriages

[Steam4Max]

Ive returned 46115 & 48151 to 'Active' on the initial post due to the appearance of CDL MK1's this morning. I will change 44932 & 45699 when they next make an appearance.
