Not so, the reference to the volcanic nature of the mountain is not relevant to the answer, so I will call matters to a halt and reveal the answer.Because of a volcanic eruption, did the mountain 'move' between the two islands?
Glaciers are numerous in the South Island of New Zealand, but Mount Ruapehu is the only location where a glacier exists on the North Island
