The Worshipful Company of Road Services. Even the devout deserve a comfy seat and a good view.

Meanwhile, back in town, an alternative fuel-type causes a bit of froth.

I like the idea of a non-biofuel bus, exactly the kind of sticking a finger up at the authorities that the bus barons need. Phil in the other image is too compliant, he is almost sucking up to the powers that be.

East 17 also told us that you must "make sure that the lady is a friend". I do not know if that was also part of the inspiration for the image, but in gambling we should remember that the house is no gambler's friend.

Since @Sun Chariot has offered up a place to eat out, let us consider a product which might (after some patience) get us there...

Back in the 1960s the concept of a Rail Replacement Bus was sometimes taken a little too literally.

Has your image located the true origin of the Beeching report?

One night after a long session with the archbishop, it was noted that the bus might be more effective if it was not constrained to the rails. How mad they must have all seemed to make such a suggestion.

Great to have your imagery back @CaptainHaddock

Having failed to stop at Bidston this morning, the Borderlands service from/to Wrexham ran round the Merseyrail loop. Here, it calls at Liverpool James Street.

Continuing the waiting for beer theme, here is an image that I captured of people waiting to go to the cinema to see "Transformers: Buses take a responsibile approach to monitoring Greenwich". Probably.

An electrified Borderlands...

Though to be fair, there was little way in which that 230 was going to fit past the barrier once it had gone through the coach anyway

Not exactly a Twix, they fit anywhere.

Following a law suit, the bus company added a "T" and claimed that they were going 'twixt two locations.
