A bit of added benefit to the Uber One subscription....

A free weekly pick up only Coffee at Joe and the Juice coffee chain. One free drink every week until 30th November.

You'll have to sign up to their app if you haven't already done so.

The promo code can be found in the Uber One Members area.

I understand that Birmingham New Street, St Pancras, Paddington and Wimbledon stations all have a Joe and the Juice branch.

I agree.

Also believe that is a one time, multi week promo code, so a new one does not need to be inputed, or claimed every week.

Plus it it worth checking the Eats section as there can be some good deals on 'pick-up' options.

For example:

Some Wendy's branches recently had a BOGOF offer on Burgers, in the last few days - Combo meals.

Wenzel's the Bakers had a BOGOF on Baguette meal deals (Baguette, side, drink), which worked out to be just over £4 each.

Coffee #1 have half price and BOGOF coffees and drinks quite regularly. Recently they had Matcha drinks for £2.40. Iced Frappes were also recently BOGOF.

Pizza Express usually has 40/50% off on selected Pizza, Pasta and sides. Pizza price works out at less than £10.

I'm not a fan of the delivery model Uber et al operate. However, open to good pick-up deals through the app.

(Apologies for going slightly off topic, however just wanted to highlight some of the good offers available to those who do subscribe. Offers which can also be handy whilst travelling.)

The one at Birmingham New Street (Grand Central) has closed, replaced by one not much further away at Bullring, and there's one opening soon on Colmore Row in what used to be the Halifax branch - virtually opposite Snow Hill station.

Seem to be quite a few in London, near to key London Stations.

Also in Bristol and Bath.

Even stupider question time: how do you get your free coffee? So far as I can see I need to order it via the app a full quarter of an hour in advance. Which seems overcomplicated

I ordered mine while I was about 2 minutes from the shop on the asap option and the coffee had just been made as I was in the shop. It was early so there was no queue and no other customers.
