Ok so despite being able to run fewer paths than usual today due to the residual disruption, all Connect services have been canned from the middle of the afternoon through end of day due to lack of availability...
Up to and including the 1315 departure from St Pancras they had the excuse 'problem with the overhead wires' but after that it was 'problem with the train'
However, the 1445 departure
did run, and despite being about half an hour late, ran through to Corby.
This looks like the only train to run today, and seems on the face bizarre (and pretty well useless). Was it to achieve some Key Performance Indicator? So that EMR aren't accused of giving up totally on Corby?
This low availability of 360s (20 sets, managed between them one round trip of about 3 hours) must be a record. I'm sure even NBL Type 2s managed better.
